I had a few, but none as good as my 8th grade girl high jumper. She set a new school record with a jump of 5' 5". Hope she keeps her head about her at state. I'm not sure how she will do, she has hurdles about the same time she has to jump.
Anyone else?

Well she only cleared 5'. She had the hurdle semi's and then had to come back to jump. Looked a little flat. The winner had to run the 400 before she tried to tie the all time hj record. She didn't make it.

Liberty 7th grade girls did well at State this year. They placed 8th as a team and brought home the following State medals:
Katie Cook - 2nd in 400 (broke a 20 year school record with a time of 1:01.95; 8th in 100m and 5th in 4 x 400 (21st in long jump)
Jackie Graham - 7th in 1600 and was a part of the 4 x 400 relay
Adrian Siebers - She was also a part of the 4 x 400 relay
Katelyn Obert (6th grader) - 6th in 1600 and was also part of relay team
Can't wait to see what these girls can do this fall in cross country and next year in track!

I watched the results of the 1600 because your girls were switching places with my girl. Yours finished right in front of Emily Martin in 8th.
